It is the property of metal materials itself that causes "spring back" during processing. All stamping tools should be designed to improve this phenomenon and eliminate the elasticity effect on part dimensions. 
The rounding stamped die made by many bending processes to form a 360° circle, and chances for spring back and deformations are unimaginable. 
 

Entry Level Difficulties---Radius forming and bending angle control

Generally, when the material is bent, the larger Radius is, the larger the spring back. When the Radius is designed for roundness dies, it becomes more complex as it is necessary to consider not only the spring back but also the curvature of R according to the product's shape. The designed shape can not be achieved with any deviation in processing. 

How to divide the whole circle into several segments with a smooth roundness and an arc of appropriate curvature?
 
Professional Level Difficulties---Round End Processing

The end processing is the lead at the last round of processing so that the material can be rounded along the die arc, and the rounding effect will be smoother. Assuming that the rounding end is not processed first, there is a possibility that the part cannot be formed or is irregularly formed.
 
 
What kind of rounded end can make the finished part with a complete shape and dimensions within tolerances?
